This package is mainly a decimal counter circuit and clock generation circuit. It is powered by the self-excited multivibrator of the NE555 core. It charges the capacitor C1 through R2, R3, and R4. When C1 starts charging, pin 2 of the NE555 is still at a low level. Therefore, when power is turned on, output pin 3 changes to high level, and C1 is charged to 2/3 of the power supply voltage through R2, R3, and R4. The level of output pin 3 changes from high to low. NE555 performs internal discharge, and capacitor C1 passes through R4, R4, and R4. R3 and pin 7 of NE555 are discharged until the voltage across C1 is less than 1/3 of the power supply voltage, and the level of pin 3 of NE555 changes from low level to high level. C1 is charged again, forming such a periodic oscillation. Charging time: 0.695 (R2+R3+R4) C1, discharging time: 0.695 (R4+R3) C1 and R4 can adjust and control the output frequency of the oscillator. The oscillation clock signal is continuously applied to pin 14 of NE555 CD4017, and the output terminal 10 and CD4017 is connected to 10 LEDs. When the output terminal 10 of CD4017 generates a high-level clock signal in turn, D1-D10 light up in sequence, forming a water-light effect.
